Ecodom Model

Around 4 million di refrigerators, washing machines , hoods, water-heaters and dishwashers every year.

This is the number of household appliances that Ecodom manages every year, which in weight can be translated into 70,0000 tons of iron, copper, aluminium and various plastic products, which if they weren't treated in the correct way, would end up filling up the rubbish dumps along with all the other urban waste.

Inorder to manage this amount ( around 40% in weight of all WEEE), Ecodom equpied itself with a specific logistic model inspired principally for its enviromental friendliness and cost.

Based on a sophisticated  informative system, supplemented with data from everything that is involved in the management of WEEE ( Pick-up Points, logistic and plant operators) thorough qualitative standard, the Ecodom model, allows hi tech rubbish that is the responsibility of the consortium is to be completely retraced.  
WEEE is followed step by step, from the Pick-up Points to the teatment plants. 

From here we proceed to the constant monitering of the retreived material and the material to be disposed.
