Who we are

Ecodom is an Italian consortium for the recycling and retreival of household appliances. It is a national collective non profit-making organization which handles the tranportation, treatment, recyling and the  disposal of "historical"  household appliances.

Ecodom first started out as a voluntary basis in 2004 thanks to the leading producers  of hoods and boilers present on the Italian market. The  main aim of the consortium, is to prevent polluted substances from damaging the enviroment and to maximize recycling, thus reintroducing cycled waste  into the productive cycle. Having regard to the treaty which establishes the disposing and recycling of Waste from Electical and Electronical Equipment. (D. Lgs. 151/2005).

With a consortium of 35 companies and a share of 65% in the market of large household appliances, every year Ecodom manages aound 39% i terms of weight, of all WEEE products in Italy.

A task undertaken by the consortium with the sole objective of conjugating an enviromental friendly atmosphere, along side the efficiency in the way products are treated.
