Recycling guarantees

The WEEE Eco-contribute  paid by the consumer when a new  appliance is purchased, serves entirely for financing the activity of, collecting, recovering, treating, and the disposal of the equipment by the producers.

The collective systems which use the WEEE collective systems must guarantee the objective set regarding the recycling of waste, as required by law

On an annual basis, the plants that carry-out the  treatment and recvery operation of WEEE waste, are called upon to comunicate relative data regarding electric and electronic waste that has been recycled.

As a general obbligation, APAT (The Italian Enviroment Protection and Technical Services Agency ), has the job of constantly monitering the activity of all those involved in the recycling process, annualing communicating the data of the entire system and the objectives reached, to the Department of  Enviroment.
